Welcome to Cat for Queen, the
home for the campaign to have the Head of State be changed from a human to a
cat.
The role of monarch in the UK is
controversial however the currently proposed visions for a republic have yet to
gain popular support. In order to bridge this divide, we are proposing that a
cat is made head of state. There are lots of reasons to support this choice. We
believe it is the morally right thing to do, the best political option and the proposal
which makes the most economic sense, and we will offer evidence and our
reasonings over the coming months and years.
